Who is the "son of the morning" in Isaiah 14? Tradition since Jerome has held that Lucifer is Satan, but the majority of recent scholars have agreed that the prophecy against the "son of the morning" is actually against the king of Babylon, and does not refer to Satan.
Does this prophecy have to be referring to Satan in order for the pre-adam world theory to be valid?
